Course Description: This 16-week virtual course led by live Instructors, prepares students to take the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Coders are responsible for assigning codes to medical diagnoses, procedures, and services, for reimbursement from insurance carriers. The knowledge you gain here will help you work almost anywhere in the Medial field doctor’s offices, clinics, health facilities, hospitals, labs, nursing homes, insurance agencies, or even the comfort of your own home.
