Add to cartThis live, instructor-led virtual program prepares students for a career in medical coding and the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
Students learn how to assign standardized codes to medical diagnoses, procedures, and services for insurance reimbursement. Topics include Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), the International Classification of Diseases, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM), and the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS).
The skills gained through this program can support career opportunities in physicians’ offices, clinics, hospitals, laboratories, nursing homes, insurance companies, other healthcare organizations, and remote work settings. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion.

English Fluency (verbal and written)

📝 Refund Policy
Mi Healthcare Academy values transparency and fairness in all financial matters. Because program spaces, materials, and clinical placements are reserved upon enrollment, the following refund policy applies to all students.
Full Refund (Minus $39 Administrative Fee)
Students who withdraw or cancel their enrollment prior to the first day of class and within three (3) business days of making their initial deposit or payment are entitled to a full refund minus a $39 non-refundable administrative setup fee.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to registration@mihealthcareacademy.com within the 3-day period following payment.
No Refunds After Three (3) Business Days or the first day of class (whichever occurs first).
After three (3) business days from the initial deposit or payment, all tuition, fees, and deposits become non-refundable, including but not limited to:
Withdrawal or cancellation prior to or after the start of class
Failure to attend or complete the program
Dismissal or termination due to attendance, conduct, or academic performance
This policy applies regardless of attendance, payment method, or scholarship status.
Program Transfers or Deferrals
Students who experience verified extenuating circumstances (such as medical emergencies or death of an immediate family member) may request a one-time transfer to a future program start date, subject to approval and seat availability.
Transfer requests must be made in writing before the scheduled program end date.
Transfer approval is at the discretion of Mi Healthcare Academy and does not constitute a refund.
Refund Method
Approved refunds (for cancellations within three business days) will be processed to the original form of payment within ten (10) business days of receiving the written cancellation request.
Acknowledgment
By enrolling in Michigan Healthcare Academy, students acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy as part of the enrollment and registration process.
